ORGANISATION OF LANGUAGE COURSES
UCKJ offers courses in the following languages: English, German, French, Italian and Russian.
- The aim of the courses is to acquire language skills at B2 level (first degree studies) / B2+ (second degree studies and long-cycle studies) in accordance with the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Participation in the foreign language course is compulsory. Unless otherwise stipulated in the curriculum for a given field of study, students are obliged to attend language classes in the language in which they have passed the baccalaureate (BA/BSc) exam.
- The number of hours of the language course depends on the study programme in a given field of study.
FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME 1ST DEGREE STUDIES
- The course programme is implemented in accordance with the contents of the syllabus for a given field of study (more information in the SylabUZ system).
- The division into language groups takes place on the basis of an online diagnostic test or a test conducted by UCKJ UZ lecturers.
- The course concludes with an exam at B2 level in accordance with the content and rules stipulated in the Syllabus.
- Students may be exempted from participating in the language course and from the exam if they hold an external certificate attesting their foreign language proficiency.
FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME STUDIES OF THE SECOND CYCLE
- The course programme is conducted in accordance with the content included in the syllabus for a given course (more information in the SylabUZ system).

- The course concludes with an exam at B2+ level in accordance with the content and rules described in the Syllabus.

- The course programme is conducted in accordance with the content included in the syllabus for a given course.
